Heacham grooming salon set to open

A new dog grooming salon is set to open in Heacham in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, this weekend (19 November). 

Honey’s House, which is named after owner Ellona Newly’s shih tzu, is located at 21B High Street. 

Newly said: “I’ve always had a love for animals from a very young age and always knew I wanted to do something related as a career. As soon as I left school I completed my level 3 animal care, level 2 and level 3 dog grooming all of which I achieved distinction level.

“During this time I completed work experience at a local groomer’s which then turned into a full-time job for just over 2 years. During this time I gained experience working with all breeds and temperaments which has given me the confidence to start my own dog grooming business.”

Honey’s House will open 9am to 5pm, although Newly will be doing some out-of-hour grooms by appointment.
