Furness Dog Training to hold Christmas event

Furness Dog Training in Ulverston, Cumbria, is to hold its first Christmas party for dogs and dog lovers.

The event will include refreshments, fancy dress with prizes, a raffle and a tombola, and a Doggy Photo Booth. The portraits will be available to buy, but a free digital copy will be gifted to everyone who attends.

Tickets are £10 per dog and the money raised on the night will go to Battersea Dog Home, in London.

Mellor, who provides training classes for puppies and beginners, said: “My heart is with that charity. I’m pleased that there’s already been donations from a few local businesses.”

The social event is to be held at Buccleugh Hall in Lindal, where the company holds its training classes, on 16 December.
