Essex salon celebrates 20 years of business

Shaggy 2 Short, based in Goldhanger, Essex, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. 

The salon is based at Gardeners Farm in Maldon Road, which is home to Tasha’s Tasty Treats, for customers to have a coffee and cake while they wait. 

Groomer Aimee Rycraft opened the salon in the back of her parents’ pet shop and grew it into a successful business. 

Rycraft told the Maldon and Burnham Standard: “My sister Charlie has been a fully qualified dog groomer for about eight years now but has been helping me out since the beginning. 

“We’re now a great team. We are super proud of what we have accomplished and how the business has grown. We’re busier, stronger and better than ever. We’re very proud of 20 years in the business.”
