Dragons Den star recognises Wigan doggy daycare 

Doggy daycare Golden Leash, in Hindley, Wigan, has become the latest pet care company to get a boost from small business champion Theo Paphitis.

The company was one of six weekly winners to gain a repost by Paphitis to his more than half a million X and Instagram followers and is also now profiled on the #SBS website.

Owner Suzanne Aspinall told Wigan Today: “My pitch was around the work we do especially with the nervous dogs or who might be a little bit nervous of bigger spaces.

“It works really well because we’re home-based so they can form friendships together and they get used to the pattern of the dogs that they are with.”

She added: “We won the small business award and we get to go and meet him and collect our award at his business conference where you can connect and learn from the best.”
