Dogs social club opens in Merseyside
Dogs Go, the members-only dog park, has opened a new ‘first-of-its-kind’ dog social club has in Wirral.
The 6,000sq ft centre has opened on Champions Business Park, in Upton, and offers doggy daycare, training, grooming, and holistic therapy services.
The centre features a play centre, ball pond, outdoors playfield, shop, and café.
The Dogs Glow groom room will open soon and will offer washes, cuts and trims, and facials.
In addition, the Dogs Flow holistic therapy room will also open soon, offering treatments such as massage, reiki, and acupuncture.
Dogs Go Social Club offers free membership and all new dogs are taken through a strict induction process at one of the social events. They are given a behavioural assessment, before playing in a smaller area, and then being integrated into the main play area with other dogs.
The club will also hold social events including doggy bingo and doggy quizzes. At weekends, from 10am until 2pm, the centre hosts member-only dog playtimes, where both dogs and owners can come together and play games in a controlled and safe environment.
Owner Sarah Ashworth told the Wirral Globe: “To now open this huge, first-of-its-kind social club centre is a dream come true. There’s nothing like this around that offers so much under one roof.”
Dogs Go Social Club is open Monday to Friday 7.15am until 6pm.
