Andover doggy daycare awarded council grant

A new doggy daycare in Andover, Hampshire, has been awarded a £750 Business Incentive Grant from Test Valley Borough Council.

Kathryn Rennie, owner of JK Howling, moved from a career in teaching to launch her business. She is currently training to become a dog groomer to add that service to her daycare business.

Rennie said: “The support from Test Valley Borough Council is incredibly helpful and has enabled me to grow the business. I am excited about the future and the new services I will be able to offer my clients thanks to the funding.”

Andover Downlands ward, Councillor Chris Donnelly, said: “It’s always wonderful to see local businesses flourish. I have personally seen the positive impact Kathryn’s business has had in our community through several Facebook posts, and a friend who has used her service, and I wish her continued success.”

Test Valley Borough Council’s Business Incentive Grant is designed to help new businesses located in the region achieve their goals and contribute to the local economy.
