Dog walking field proposed for Caythorpe

Plans for a new secure dog walking field in Caythorpe, Nottinghamshire, have been unveiled.

The proposed facility would be located on land behind numbers 110 and 112 Caythorpe Road, which is currently unused paddocks. The land was last rented out in 2021.

The facility would be secured with an eight-foot wire fence and there would be carparking for three vehicles.

If approved, dog walkers will be able to book one-hour sessions online, although an option to book longer sessions would be available.

The opening hours for booking sessions would run between 8am and 6pm in the lighter months, reducing to 4pm in the winter.

The district council will decide on this application at a later date.
