Dog grooming salon set to open in Uppermill

A new grooming salon will open in Uppermill, Greater Manchester, after a planning application was approved.

The development, in a former workshop and storage area in Platts Yard on High Street, will see the installation of internal walls inside the current open-plan space.

The space will see the installation of a kitchen, the retainment of a closet, and a main grooming studio with dog pens.

A condition of approval was that there be no more than three dogs at the site at any one time.

The grooming salon will be allowed to open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
