Dog field set to open in Little Downham
A new dog field is set to open in Little Downham, Cambridgeshire, in September.
Becky Mulley O-Byrne, whose grandfather owned the field, has launched the venture with her father Brian Mulley.
The field will also feature a splash area, long grass and agility equipment, seating, and five parking spaces.
The facility will be available to book for 25- and 55-minute sessions and private training sessions will be available.
Mulley O-Byrne told the Ely Standard: “One of the best things about the field is that it’s within walking distance for many in Little Downham. It’s less than two-minutes’ walk from Cannon Street, so we’re very close to the community, which is great for people who don’t have cars.
“Often dog fields are very remote and they’re not really within walking distance of any sort of settlements.”
The dog park will be open from 6am to 9pm in the summer, with shorter opening hours in the winter.
