Cumbria set to welcome new doggy daycare

A new doggy daycare is to open in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, on 1 April.

Abbie Fallows, who holds a level 3 diploma in animal management, will launch Precious Paws with Abbie at a converted barn in Allithwaite. The facility is licensed to take in 10 dogs from Monday to Friday.

She told The Mail: “This is what I have always wanted to do. I have always wanted to work with animals, especially with dogs.

“I have always had dogs from a young age. As soon as I turned four years old that was all I would ask for Christmas.”

The facility will have three sections: a staff area, an indoor play area, and an area where dogs can be alone with crates and sofas.

The services include doggy daycare from 8am to 4pm and pick-up services from 7am to 8am and drop-off from 4pm to 5pm.
