Burgess Pet Care extends Supadog range
Burgess Pet Care has expanded its Burgess Supadog range of complete dry dog food with a Rich in Salmon recipe, which has been developed for all breeds of adult dogs.
The company has pledged that for every bag of 12.5kg Supadog Rich in Salmon sold, it will donate 20p to dog rescues across the UK in the form of free food.
Charlotte Varley, brand development manager at Burgess Pet Care, said: “As part of our ongoing support for rescue centres, our donation pledge recognises the vital work that rescues do 365 days a year, as well as the huge contribution they make to the welfare and lives of all dogs, ensuring they can be rehomed and live happy, fulfilled lives.
“We are delighted that our Rich in Salmon packaging features Jess, a beautiful two-year-old Staffy Cross. Jess’ mum was found tied to a lamp post while pregnant and she later gave birth to Jess in a rescue centre. Fortunately, Jess was adopted by her wonderful owners and is now very much loved by her family. Her story underlines just how important it is to support the work of rescues.”
Dr Suzanne Moyes, veterinary director at Burgess Pet Care, added: “A dog’s nutritional needs varies throughout their life, and our new Supadog Rich in Salmon food has been developed specifically to meet the needs of adult dogs. It contains prebiotics to help support healthy digestion and fish oil to help your dog’s coat stay shiny and healthy.
