Buckinghamshire doggy daycare donates toys and cash

Buckinghamshire-based doggy daycare Claire’s Comfy Canines has donated a sack full of toys and £1,221 in cash to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue.

Staff at the doggy daycare raised the money through a raffle and clients of the business donated Christmas presents.

Claire Hunter, Managing Director of Claire’s Comfy Canines, told Bucks Free Press: “We reviewed our company charity in 2021 as we decided we wanted to support a small, local charity where our fundraising would make a difference. Our team and clients are always incredibly supportive of my fundraising plans.

“The generosity this year has been particularly touching, due to the cost of living crises we are all facing, I really wasn’t sure we would be able to raise as much as I had hoped. We are obviously all huge dog lovers and the charity is close to many of my team and clients hearts, we smashed through my expectations.”
