Bruce’s updates centres across the UK

Doggy daycare Bruce’s has made substantial upgrades to its centres across the UK to it ensure they are ready for winter.

At its Cobham centre, it has resurfaced all paths and car parks. The Bruce’s team has also upgraded the site’s internet.

Bruce’s has added permanent, all-weather shelters at its Country Hills centre, in North London. In addition, wood chippings cover all field entrances to reduce mud, and it has resurfaced the entrance track for smoother drop-offs and pick-ups.

The company has also reconfigured the customer reception area at its Tunbridge Wells centre, in Kent, creating a warm, indoor space. Wood chippings have been added at all field entrances to help keep pets cleaner on muddy days.

Bruce’s centre in Umberslade, in the West Midlands, has had its pathways and field entrances fully resurfaced, along with new permanent shelters, lots of sensory and scenic planting, and a new sheltered and resurfaced wash station.

In addition, the company’s Wellington centre, in Hampshire, has undergone an overhaul to tackle boggy areas. With major groundworks to improve drainage in the pipeline, Bruce’s has also added mature planting, and created a new customer entrance for an easier, drier way to reach the centre. A new wash station has also been added.

The company’s centre in Woodcote Green, Greater London, now has a newly renovated poly-tunnel and extra field space. It has also added a covered wash area, with astroturf footings, to the centre.

Bruce’s said: “As winter settles in, we know the colder, wetter months can make adventures a little messier, but at Bruce’s, we’ve gone the extra mile to keep our centres ready for anything Mother Nature throws at us.

“As our dogs will all attest, rain never stops play at Bruce’s.”
