Bruce’s to open latest doggy daycare centre in Radlett

Bruce’s has announced plans to open a new doggy daycare centre at Battlers Green Farm, Radlett, in August 2023.

The latest site marks the tenth daycare centre for the franchise and will also offer dog training, alongside the existing grooming salon.

Spread across five acres, the new centre offers outdoor and indoor play areas, with a separate area for puppies, as well as equipment, sleeping quarters and amenities for the dogs.

Bruce’s is offering individual fields according to dogs’ breed, age, personality, play style and size, including: Puppy Preschool, designed for puppies to develop social skills; Tiny Town for smaller dogs; Sniffing Safari where dogs are encouraged to put their foraging skills to the test; Agility Adventures; and Zen Gardens offering natural aromas that promote relaxation.

Bruce’s Managing Director, Ben Mann, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening in such a lovely setting at the Battlers Green Farm Shopping Village.

“The dogs here are in for a real treat as we have upcycled a farming silo to a high standard that will provide amazing indoor space to compliment the beautiful fields that they will play in.”

Each field promises to offer a mixture of environmental, sensory, habitat, and food enrichment, designed to nurture a dog’s natural abilities.

The new site will also offer a doggy bus collection and drop-off service to shuttle pups to and from home, covering the local area including Shenley, Radlett, Borehamwood, Watford, Bushey, Harrow, and Edgware.

Bruce’s buses are fully equipped with air conditioning, heating, and comfortable seating. All doggy bus drivers are DBS-checked.

Further to the bus service, Bruce’s will also offer dog training, alongside the existing grooming salon.

Finally, customers will be able to keep track of their dog’s day using the Bruce’s App, which offers real-time notifications about their dog, photo updates and booking management.
