Brighton dog walker banned from keeping dogs for a year
A Brighton dog walker and sitter has been banned from keeping dogs for a year.
Luke Cobb, 38, who previously ran Harvey’s Walks, admitted causing causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal during an incident last year that was caught on a neighbour’s doorbell camera.
The video footage, which went viral, shows Cobb pinning a Cockapoo against a wall and hitting its head against the wall.
Magistrates in Brighton ruled that Cobb had to find a home for his two pets after he was banned from keeping dogs for a year.
He has also been handed a two-month community order with 10 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days and 200 hours unpaid work, and he will also pay £114 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
