Bradford set to extend dog controls
Members of Bradford Council’s Regulatory and Appeals Committee have voted to extend the existing Public Space Protection Order aimed at dog walkers for a further three years.
The order means those in charge of dogs can be fined for failing to pick up dog poo or letting dogs off leads in parks, cemeteries, and sports fields.
New amendments to the original order would mean that dog walkers would now need to prove they had a dog poo bag or other means of clearing up waste if pressed by wardens.
The current order runs out in May.
It’s time to enter the Dog Professionals Awards!
