Beaphar unveils herbal flea repellent

Beaphar has launched a new plant-based flea repellent spot-on.

The VETOpure Spot-On range contains well-recognised plant-based repellents: margosa extract from the neem tree and eucalyptus citriodora oil.

The brand has been developed in response to Beaphar’s latest market research the reveals that 39% of pet owners were actively looking for natural protection against fleas and 70% would consider purchasing a new flea treatment based on natural herbal ingredients.

Claire Edmunds, Beaphar Marketing Manager, said: “The trend for more natural products is well established, our existing plant-based spot-on range grew significantly in 2023 and online searches for natural flea products continue to grow year on year.

“We want to be able to offer a product that is well positioned to allow pet owners to choose a parasiticide that fits with their values, at the right price point – and more products in the range will follow soon.”

The VETOpure Spot-On range currently includes a small dog three pipette pack and large dog six pipette pack.
