Fife could welcome new doggy daycare

A new doggy daycare could open in Thornton, Fife, under new plans.

Applicant Maria Banuls is seeking a certificate of lawfulness to make the changes to stables at Balbeggie Bothy, in Balbeggie Avenue.

Refurbishment of the stable will prioritise noise reduction with wall panelling, soundproof roof panels, and noise-reducing kennel doors.

In addition, the facility would have a private car park for an easy drop-off and pick-up for owners.

Her proposal is to run the doggy daycare on Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:30pm.

Councillors will consider the application in due course.
