#PurrpleDayPets returns to raise awareness of epilepsy

Epilepsy Research is bringing back #PurrpleDayPets to mark Purple Day (26 March), the day for raising awareness about the condition.

The charity is urging people to share photos of pets wearing purple on social media throughout the week, from 21-26 March, using the hashtags #PurrpleDayPets and #PurpleDay. Epilepsy Research is also asking people to show their appreciation by resharing the photos or making a donation via its website.

The charity said: “Following the huge popularity of last year’s event, we’re once again handing over the reins to our furry friends to help increase the visibility of epilepsy and raise vital funds for research this #PurpleDay.”

The person that takes the charity’s favourite photo will win a goodie bag.
