Berkshire trainer picks up Prestige Award
Berkshire-based training business Happipup has been named Puppy Training Service of the Year in London and the South East by Prestige Awards.
The awards recognise small and independent businesses that are successful and hard working on a local level.
Happipup, founded by Sandra Emmons in 2018, was recognised for its outstanding customer service, innovative training programmes, positive reviews, and for working with the local community.
Emmons, who became a full-time trainer last September when she gave up her role as a service director, runs a range of classes – including grow your superstar dog, pet detectives, and confidence building workshops – and also offers one-to-one training.
She told Newbury Today: “The judges said I was chosen because of my creative training programmes for puppies that help them to become sociable, confident and happy pups.
“One thing that stood out was that the training supports other local businesses, with the pups and their parents exploring what Pangbourne and other local villages have to offer.”
