Tranent dog care company hosts open day

Jurassic Bark Pet Group in Tranent, East Lothian, has held an open day for charity.

The company consists of Grooming salon Fur the Love of Dogs and dog training space Jurassic Bark, which are owned by Coral Aston and her partner Richard Harding.

The open day featured a reactivity specialist to offer free training advice for dog owners, while Aston offered discounted face tidies and nail clips, and a photographer hosted photoshoot sessions for £15. It also featured a raffle and free treat bags.

All money raised will be donated to the German Shepherd Rescue Scotland charity.

Harding told The East Lothian Courier: “[The charity] are struggling for money. They don’t get money from the government, it’s all funded from donations, so we just want to help them out.

“They do an amazing job – there’s only two of them and they’re rushed off their feet just trying the get things in place “They deserve the help.”
