Thieves steal over £10,000 worth of kit from Leeds trainer
Thieves have stolen more than £10,000 worth of equipment from Yorkshire Canine Academy following a break-in at its Leeds facility.
Equipment including a Fireball Dog treadmill, branded in the company’s logo, and various soft dog toys were taken.
Owner Jacob Morgan told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “They took all dog training equipment. We’ve got a doggy treadmill, which is very niche that they took, all dog training leads and collars and dog toys.
“There were better things to take but they managed to just take dog stuff which is odd.”
He added: “We’ve only been open 18 months. We’ve put in a lot of money, me and the other co-owners, plus our time and effort. For it all to be taken overnight and really trivial stuff is just daft.”
The company has offered a cash reward for any information that helps get its equipment back.
