Suffolk dog exercise field opens

A new dog exercise field has opened in Somersham, near Ipswich.

Go Frolic features an enclosed 3.5 acres of meadow, with a 1.6-metre non-climbing fence installed, and obstacles for dogs, such as tree trunks, giant tyres, tunnels and ramps.

In addition, there are benches, a freshwater supply, and undercover seating available.

Field owner Lucy Batchelor-Wylam told the Ipswich Star: “My idea for Go Frolic was to open a large dog field, that encourages healthy exercise for both dogs and humans.

“I want people to either relax, whilst their dog enjoys their freedom, or get their trainers on and get moving themselves.”

Up to 10 dogs will be able to visit at any one time, in 55-minute slots, and bookings are taken through the company’s website.
