St Helens set for new dog exercise paddock
Plans have been submitted for a dog walking and exercise paddock at Shoots Delph Farm in Moss Bank, St Helens, Merseyside.
Applicant Chris Forster is seeking to change the use of a 0.29 hectare field into a dog walking and exercise area. The field will be surrounded by a 1.2 metre high sheep netting and timber post fence.
A supporting statement submitted by agents Adams Planning + Development, on behalf of the applicant, says the dog fields would be open at 8am and to 6.30pm on Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Each field would have to be pre-booked in person or via the on-line booking system for either half an hour or an hour slot. There will be limit of six dogs at any one time.
The planning application is on standard consultation until 8 May, with a determination deadline set for 7 June.
