Sparsholt dog exercise field given green light
Plans for a new secure dog exercise field in Winchester, Hampshire, have been approved despite residents’ objections.
The plans will see an agricultural field near the Crab Wood Nature Reserve, in Sparsholt, converted into a bookable dog exercise field.
The facility will be ring-fenced and split into two separate paddocks, wooden shelters with seating and tables will provide rest areas, and four parking spaces will be provided.
The field will be open from 7am to 8pm in the spring and summer months and from 8am to 4pm during the shorter days of autumn and winter.
