North Wales dog park given green light
Plans to create a dog park in Overton, North Wales, have been given the green light by planners.
Proposals were put forward in February to change the use of agricultural land at Gwalia Fields in Overton.
Farm owner Dennis Nicholls, who is behind the scheme, said he was looking to diversify his business and meet demand in the local area.
The facility, off the B5069, would be around 2.5 acres and would be fenced off for security. Customers will be able to book the field for 30-minute sessions using an online system.
In addition, three parking spaces will be provided for customers, alongside dog waste bins which will be emptied twice a week.
