Saltdean Lido unveils Dogtember dates
Saltdean Lido, in East Sussex, has unveiled its ‘Dogtember’ schedule that enables dogs to swim alongside humans.
The lido has designed a schedule, which starts on 10 September, to suit a range of dogs needs.
As well as use of the 40m heated pool, dogs will also have use of the sloping splash pool, complete with a slide and chaseable water spouts, as well as plenty of grass area in the secure site. A drying service will also be on offer after the swimming session is over.
In addition, a range of stalls will also be found around the pool, which will be serving refreshments.
All sessions are 90 minutes long, apart from one-hour quiet sessions, which will be at 5pm each day. These sessions will be limited to just 50 dogs and 100 humans, whereas the other sessions will welcome 150 dogs and 150 humans.
Although some of the sessions are labelled as being meet-ups for certain dog breeds, all dogs are still welcome at these sessions, apart from small and large dog sessions.
