Puppy trainer teams up with pub to host socialisation days
Penwortham puppy trainer Meera Puppins has partnered with dog-friendly pub, Golden Ball of Longton, to host socialisation sessions for puppies aged up to 12 months old.
The Socialisation Sundays monthly event was created to help teach puppies vital real-life socialisation skills, including learning how to relax and enjoy being out with their owners in public spaces.
During the Sunday session, the puppies learn how to greet and interact with each other, walk calmly on the lead and socialise at a local nature reserve, before visiting the pub for a roast dinner.
“This also helps puppies and their owners to safely enjoy quality time together, with Meera’s expert guidance and support on how to help the puppies settle in the pub,” the company said.
