Plans for Scarborough grooming salon approved

Plans for a new dog grooming salon in a residential garage in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, have been approved.

Applicant David Barber’s plans to convert his garage at The Uplands in Newby have been approved by North Yorkshire Council.

The operating hours were restricted from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

In addition, planning officers ruled that the business would not be allowed to operate on Bank Holidays.
