Plans for Newport dog walking facility unveiled

A new secure dog walking facility could open on farmland on the border of Newport and Torfaen, South Wales.

Applicant Natalie Allen wants to set up a secure dog walking area at Graig Wood House, in Malthouse Lane, between Caerleon and Cwmbran.

A management plan, prepared by British Dog Fields, shows a maximum of six dogs are expected to use the facility at any one time.

The planning documents show the new business. which features a car park, intends to operate year-round in daylight hours.

The application for change-of-use planning permission is currently out for consultation.
