Plans for new Merseyside doggy daycare lodged

Plans for a new doggy daycare centre at an industrial park in Fazakerley, Merseyside, have been lodged with Liverpool Council.

The plans involve the conversion of an empty unit on Brookfield Drive to become the new home of Sid’s Place Doggy Day Care.

An application form submitted to Liverpool Council said the works would include a new shop front, security shutters, external doors to the rear, and flagstone to provide safe access. The daycare centre would open from 7am to 6pm from Monday to Friday.

The application is currently out for consultation and the deadline for comments is 26 July.

It is not known when a decision is to be made by Liverpool Council’s planning department.
