Plans for new Lowestoft dog park unveiled
A new 2.4-acre dog walking field could soon be launched on agricultural land in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, under plans lodged with the Broads Authority.
Change of use plans have been submitted on behalf of Ivy House Farm to turn land previously used for livestock and horses into the new dog walking field.
A planning statement, submitted by agents Durrant’s Building Consultancy, states: “The use of the dog walking field has not yet commenced, with no bookings taken and the field not yet being advertised.
“However, the site has already been fenced, with hardstanding laid at the existing access, and a shed installed. Dog poo bins and agility obstacles have also been installed.”
The field would be available to book between 7am and 7pm.
