Plans for new dog walking field near Thirsk approved

Plans to create a dog walking field in South Kilvington, near Thirsk, has been approved.

Hambleton District Council’s planning committee approved South Acres’ proposal to open a secure dog exercise area enclosed by a 1.8m-high fence. The facility will be open from 6am to 9pm.

Residents had branded the scheme “ludicrous”.
