Plans for Brooke grooming salon approved

Plans for a new dog grooming salon in Brooke, Norfolk, have been approved.

Applicant Shannon Mayhew sought permission to change an “under-utilised outbuilding” at a farm, in Mill Lane, into a dog salon.

The plans, which include three off-road parking spaces, will see residential and farming elements at the site to remain unchanged.

One of the conditions of the approval is that the dog grooming business cannot “be sold, leased or run independently” from the farm.
