Paws & Pause Dog Day Care to add new services

Social enterprise Paws & Pause Dog Day Care, located in South London, is to introduce an after-school club and Saturday day care service.

The social enterprise, which was launched in June 2019 by Grace Beards and Jodie Larsen to provide sustainable routes into employment for people in recovery, says the services have been designed to provide “maximum flexibility for working dog families”.

Initially, the services will be available at its Peckham branch, with plans to expand to its Brixton site soon.

Paws & Pause Dog Day Care told customers: “Now you and your pups can enjoy even more Paws & Pause fun on weekends and after school hours. We will now be closing at 11pm.”

In addition, Paws & Pause Dog Day Care is set to launch a Crowdfunder to expand its social impact programme.

The social enterprise said: “We will be sharing more information in the coming weeks however if anyone has any contacts or experience they could share this would be super helpful. This is the first time we have done anything like this.”
