Pakenham dog pool plans approved

Plans for a dog swimming pool in Pakenham, Suffolk, have been approved despite a refusal recommendation from planning officials.

Canine Dip and Dive applied for planning permission to install an above-ground pool for the training of dogs next to historic Pakenham Windmill, in Thurston Road.

The plans received 105 letters of support from residents across the county and beyond without a single objection.

The final decision was to approve the plans unanimously.
