Oxfordshire dog park secures retrospective planning permission
Controversial plans for a dog park at Kidmore End, Oxfordshire, have been approved.
Applicant Simon Herbert was seeking retrospective planning permission for change of use of three areas of land for dog walking including associated benches and shelters, change of use of an area as a dog adventure park, and change of use of an existing outbuilding for doggy daycare, and a dog grooming service.
The plans encompass the 4.5 hectare (11 acre) site and permit a maximum of 20 dogs at one time.
Nine councillors voted to approve the application, despite concerns expressed by Kidmore End Parish Council.
