Norfolk farmer opens dog park
Norfolk farmer Kit Papworth, a director of farming contractors LF Papworth, has opened Tuttington Dog Park.
He obtained planning permission in April for the secure two-acre park, which is located two miles from Aylsham, alongside his fiancee Caroline Culot.
Walkers are also catered for with facilities including toilets, a shelter, and free WiFi.
Papworth told Eastern Daily Press: “When I started out farming, I never imagined I would be running a dog walking park on one of my most beautiful meadows which sits almost directly in front of my own house.
“However, Caroline and I have talked about the concept for years and so it’s incredibly rewarding to see it actually open.”
Slots are priced £10 per hour with 50 minutes dog walking and allowing 5 minutes entry and exit from the park. Multiple slots can be booked in advance for up to a total of four dogs.
