Norfolk council set to renew dog fouling rules

Broadland District Council is set to renew its public spaces protection order on dog fouling for a further three years.

The council introduced the order, which made it an offence for people not to pick up after pets, in 2022.

Councillors have recommended extending the order, subject to a public consultation.

Once the consultation is complete, a meeting of the full council will have the final say on whether the order should be renewed.
