Manchester housing development offers free dog walks for residents

The company behind Manchester’s newest waterfront development, MeadowSide, is providing a free dog walking service for residents.

The £200m residential scheme, which overlooks Angel Meadow Park, includes 750 apartments, townhouses and penthouses in Mount Yard and the soon-to-be completed Gate and Stile building.

The service is for up to two dogs per household, up to four times a week, to homeowners only.

To take advantage of the offer, residents have to contact the concierge in their building or building’s owners and their details will be passed on to Manchester-based Furry Chums Pet Walking & Boarding.

Developer Far East Consortium (FEC) said: “At MeadowSide, we appreciate that pets are part of the family, which is why our apartments have always been pet friendly and why we’re offering Mount Yard residents exclusive access to free dog walking services.”

However, the company’s website says the offer is available for a limited time only and is a 12-month introductory offer.

The MeadowSide development is set for completion by the end of 2024.
