Long Melford could welcome dog grooming salon

Plans to convert a former butchers in Long Melford, Suffolk, into a dog grooming salon have been submitted.

The family-owned butchers Ruse and Son shut its doors in Hall Street, Long Melford, in January 2020 after serving the community for 160 years.

Plans lodged with Babergh District Council show it is hoped three full-time positions can be created within 12 months of opening.
