Lichfield District Council consults on proposed changes to dog control

Lichfield District Council is holding a public consultation over the renewal and proposed changes to its Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) focused on dog control.

Changed to the PSPO could see the additional requirement for a person in control of a dog to put it on a lead when directed to do so by an authorised person and the extension of the exclusion zones to include the fenced playgrounds at Edingale Village Hall, Hopwas, and Harlaston Village playground?

The consultation, which can be viewed here, closes on Monday, 19 August 2024.
