K9 Training Centre teams up with Jodie Marsh to help animals
Suffolk dog training centre Guardians K9 Training Centre, based in Barham, is teaming up with former glamour model Jodie Marsh.
Owner Darren Debenham was approached by Marsh, who opened the Fripps Farm animal rescue during the pandemic, about raising funds for the charity.
They will be holding a fundraising event on 28 May, at Guardians K9 Training Centre on Old Norwich Road, from 10am to 4pm.
Attendees will be able to meet the Fripps Farm and Guardians K9 Training Centre teams and have a go at various activities. There will also be a dog show, raffle, stalls, games and food available to purchase.
Marsh told The Ipswich Star: “Darren came on board to help us train Paxton. He was very kind and generous, so we asked, ‘Why don’t we team up and raise some money for rescued animals?’
“During the event we’re going to have a dog show so people can bring their own dogs. I’ll be judging. There will also be a place where you can check your dog’s agility, and we’ll have a demonstration of Darren’s dog as well as dog items sale.”
Debenham, whose company specialises in training dogs for police, military and special operation jobs from all over the world, added: “I’m very excited to team up with Jodie for our fundraising event later this month.”
