Jack Wolf increases prices
Raw food brand Jack Wolf is increasing its prices due to “large overnight increases” in costs, particularly for turkey.
The company said the increases reflect the rises in its turkey, duck and beef recipes of 20p, 5p, and 5p, respectively.
The company told customers: “Jack Wolf have been able to absorb many cost increases over years through the phenomenally hard work of the team, process changes, investment and improvements in efficiency across the business.
“In recent times it has been a struggle, as we are all aware with rising prices in the global economy. The world has truly gone mad…
“To add to this, Bird Flu has been causing farmers problems worldwide including here in the UK with severe consequences for major turkey and duck producers which is dramatically hitting availability. This was cited as the dominant reason for this sudden increase in cost to us.”
The company added: “We keep our prices fair and increases to a minimum. However, all prices are subject to a further review in the near term due to persistently high transport and fuel costs which is levied through DPD and our various partners transport costs for all materials to the factory.”
