Grooming salon with unique business plan to open in St Neots
A new dog grooming salon is set to open in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, with a unique business plan.
Groomers Amy Walpole and Simone Walker, known as The Crazy Dog Ladies, are behind the business that is to open in the town’s High Street on 15 February.
Their business plan, to give dogs an 80s-style groom, stems from their love for the era and to honour Walker’s dad – Pick Withers – the original drummer in the 80s band Dire Straits who helped their plans come to fruition.
The salon will offer dog, cat and small animal grooming, ultrasonic teeth cleaning, and there will also be a training academy.
Walpole and Walker told The Hunts Post: “We have some very big and very exciting plans ahead for the future of The Crazy Dog Ladies, we won’t give too much away just yet, but we will say that we are working towards offering diverse doggy-related services for our four-legged rockstars – so watch this space.”
