Grooming salon opens in business in Ammanford

A new dog grooming salon has opened in Ammanford town centre, in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.

Lee Watkins-Jones, who opened Cwtsh Cwn – which means cuddle dog in Welsh – in the Ammanford Arcade, is running the salon alongside another job.

Jones told The South Wales Guardian: “Things have been going alright. I’m chuffed to have opened.

“I was thinking about opening this business for a few years, but the timing was not right until recently.”

He added: “My goal for now is to get the business up and running. Then, in the future, I also want to teach people how to groom their dog.”
