Grooming salon launches in Grantham

A new grooming salon has opened in Grantham, Leicestershire.

Groomer Daisy Johnson has opened her business, Daisy Fresh Dogs, based at her home salon on New Row. She has insulated and sound proofed her garden shed to transform it into a salon, which will be open Mondays to Fridays, from 8am until 5pm.

Johnson told The Grantham Journal: “I have been grooming for 12 years now and I have groomed all over at lots of different lots salons and I just wanted to be at home in a nice quiet environment and just be able to be my own boss.”

She said the first days of business were “really good” and she is “fully booked up”.
