Galashiels groomers closes after decade

K-9 Grooming in Galashiels, in the Scottish Borders, has closed down after 10 years.

The business, based on Bank Street, blamed increasing costs and decreasing footfall in the town for the decision.

K-9 Grooming said: “Sadly we have had to get the retrievers in, as we are barkrupt, and no longer have two bones to rub together.”

The company announced the decision to close at the end of April.
