Firms offering free doggy daycare to lure staff back to office
Companies are attempting to lure their employees back to the office with offers of free dog daycare, according to reports.
The reports suggest bosses, concerned about a decline in productivity levels, have begun offering to pay to look after employees’ dogs during work hours or are letting pets in the office.
Lancashire County Council is among those advertising roles with dog daycare, while stationery firm Maison Papier said it now allows dogs into its London office.
Petra Tagg, Director at recruitment firm Manpower UK, told the Daily Mail: “When employers are really struggling to attract and retain talent, it’s a smart move to find ways to keep employees happy.”
