Falkirk park set to get self-service dog wash

Callendar Park, in Falkirk, could soon get a self-service dog wash under new plans.

Applicant Carr Inglis, who installed a self-service dog wash in Helix Park last year, is seeking permission to install a similar facility in Callendar Park.

The company wants to install the machine in the building that was formerly the Par 3 Golf Centre, close to the children’s play park.

Falkirk Council is in the process of redeveloping the building to clean up the exterior and add a disabled bathroom, according to the planning application.
